I recently saw that there are 12,000 k bulbs now available. Has anyone ever experienced them before? I know that the 6,000 k bulbs are supposed to be a little more purple looking than our 4200 k. I have a friend that has 6,000 k on his 528/M5 conversion and when compared to my 530, they appear a little whiter. I'm not really looking to buy new bulbs soon, just wondering what else is out there.

 

I believe as you go up in Kelvins, it goes from white to blue to purple. The smaller the number being mroe white and teh higher the number going more into the UV? range. Thus, the purple ish look. Someoen educate me ifI'm wrong.
