Should have stick to 6 psi till get accustomed. Then rise by 2 or something... It was so much fun to have a feel like you are on 3rd gear when you on 6th.

Dunno. Probably can fix. Seems like crossbar, pillars and everything behind is fine. Just not sure if I wanna do it.

I'm always amazed when people are willing to spend thousands on making more power, but still run economy tires.
Tires toyo proxes 4 - not really economy... Probably skill issue.
These are by far the worst tires ive ever experienced on this car. I bought and returned them 2 weeks after I purchased. Sorry for your loss here, real shame. But yeah, probably preventable with either more driver experience or proper tires both. Part of driver experience is knowing what tires to put on this car and for the power output. FI is cool fun and games, till you stuff it in a guardrail But I wouldn't use those tires on a stock s2k. Not only do they grip less then the OEM tires, but handle absolutely terrible. Live and learn. Sometimes the hard way. Glad you were not hurt or anyone else.

What tire store let you drive on tires and then return them? I'll have to start shopping there.

Les Schwab Tires. Toyo Proxes is their "house brand". They offer a limited guarantee on tires if your not satisfied (If I recall its 30 days) But dont ever buy Toyo proxes tires. Even the T1R is bad. Terrible handling line up of tires for this car. The proxes are flimsy and shit rubber compound both, as the OP discovered.

Hit wasn't really hard, but car already had some welding work on frame forward of crossbar/wheel pillars, so it was kind of weak spot. It may actually be a good thing for i dont expect crossbar and everything behind be damaged / bent etc. Probably gonna repeat what previous owned did, plus fender plus hood.
Radiators look ok, engine fine, power steering works

It was dumbest accident ever and tbh I feel least of my fault (except going ft on wet road). Empty road (5 lanes!) I'm in most left, 6th gear, about 80 mph, went full throttle, once hit vtec eng point car just lost grip (yeah I had tracktion control disabled!) and went spinning. Whatever I did just didn't help. It was like on ice (1 hr past rain, wet road). Eventually I ran into one of concrete blocks on the side of the road (on the right, passed 5 lanes).
