All the speculation with the radials are very possible. But until someone with great track experience have actually tried it. No one would know for sure how the Boosted s will work with it.

But overall it was a fun time at the track. Because from Road and Driver "Test on the Vortech S2k." It was a 14 sec car. I guess they need to file a new CLAIM.

I don't doubt the 13.2...it's the "low 12's" with drag radials and clutch that is "quite a claim".

And Randy has much more done to his car than a bolt-on kit...I am aware.

ok, I mis-understood your reply. Yeah low 12's or even 11's is quite a claim. BUT, give it time and many more things will be understood about our cars. Brave new people will step up and try new things with this car.
Just like example. The twin turbo supra. 3 years ago at 98. Which the car has been out for 5 years already. Vinny Ten made 1200 hp on a full race car and ran high 9's. Now Titan motorsports's supra run 9.06 on a street(barely) supra. With same amount of HP. HP is everything but it's nothing with out traction. Give it time. S2 owners will start playing with more suspension mods and diff suspension set ups.
I still believe the power is enough to be doing it. I guess it will only take time to figure it out. I will play with my shock set up and tire pressure next time I go out to the track. Hopefully it will make a difference. But I don't know how many times I'm willing to put my car thru the Track, because our drive train is known to be not the friendlyiest when it come to drag racing.

I agree, it will take some time for things to get really interesting. I too think that my car will be running 12's soon and eventually (long time from now) 11's...I just know that it's not a ~$500 set of radials away. Good luck, do you plan on doing a boost upgrade?

Boost Upgrade. Not anytime soon. Maybe til when Vortech have another black box for the smaller pulley they have. Because they have a 12lb belt and pulley. But not a 12lb black box. If that is avaialbe I will consider it. But the whole reason I went with the charger was to have a fast street kit. It I was doing it for high boost or drag, it would of been a turbo kit. Where boost comes by dialing of the finger.
I do believe you are capable of 12's. I have not been kept up to date on your car. But last time I checked before you had your AEM, you had 302 whp on VAFC, that was a lot. Easily a 12 sec car. Especially when we have such lightweight car that's rear wheel drive. Hope you can reach that. You of all people here deserve it. There are those who talk here, you are one of those who walk. Good luck to you too.
