17" in rear and 16" up front??
I was wondering how putting 16" wheels up front and 17" in the rears would affect appearance and performance. Or similarly, 17"/18" wheels.
Aside from price issues, is there any reason to do this or NOT to do this..??
Any comments?

Personally I just think it looks kinda gay...I really like seeing 18's all around on this car. But if you're asking performance wise...I haven't a clue.
But with 18's, you can expand on your brakes with bigger some bigger, nicer, 13" rotors like the lotus shaped ones on http://www.thebrakeman.com/rotors/revolution.html

I put 18's/rear & 17's/front (see below) for tire sizes. I'm not sure how to post pics on this sight yet (havn't signed up with photopoint yet/I guess that would be necessary to post pics). I've seen the "vB codes explaned", but it doesn't answer all my questions about posting pics
BACK TO THE POINT!!!!
As long as the offsets of the wheel work with the car, and the overall tire diameter remains very close to original, the handling should improve due to the lower profile/stiffer tire side walls. See www.s2ki.com/faqs/faq_wheels.php for a good guide to wheel offsets and correct 16,17 & 18" tire sizes.
I will say, however; the larger rear wheels (same overall tire dia. remember) looks bad to the bone. I've emailed you a pic (I do know how to do that).

One more note: Lower profile tires (17's and 18's) difinately create a stiffer/gittery ride. I can feel it in ther rear (18's) more than the front (17's).
I respectfully disagree that it looks kinda gay (no more gay than the NSX and other high end cars running the same type of setup). If you were to put 18's on the rear & 16's on the front, that I would definately agree looks down right goofy.

Thanks, as for the gay part, gay means happy right? I have no problem owning a happy car, and the S2K does exhibit a smile..
I personally have never liked any wheels over 17" on the S2K - it just looks too 'ghetto' for me..(might as well bring race into this now that someone brought up sexual orientation)..
What reasons exist for having differing wheel sizes on cars like the NSX and others?
Thanks

IMHO, the lower profile rear tires allow less latteral movement. When stomping on it out of a turn, and the rear gets a little loose, it is probably eisier to control.
That would raise the question, why wouldn't the front require the same control?????
Daaaaaaag!!! I syumped myself!
