The red line on the 04 s2k is 8000 rpms correct? and 00-03 the red line is 9000 rpm? I was looking through autotrader ads looking for a s2000, and there was a dealer advertisment for the 2003 s2k that said the redline was 8000 rpm....and i always thought it was 9000 rpm.... which generation do u guys prefer?

if i was you...go for the 02-04 model....because 00-01 has a plastic rear window...
