Default 2 new 06's at dealer for $29,995

(Mod--if this is the wrong forum pls move it--thanks!!)

I stopped by my local Honda Dealer to look at an Element for my daughter and saw they have signs on their two new remaining 06's for $29,995---they're BB and NFR.
Not sure whether that's a great price for a new 06 at this point with 07s coming out but thought I'd pass the info along in case anyone was looking for an 06 in either color.
The dealer is Park Honda in Akron OH

You can talk a new one down to almost that much. I talked mine down to $30,492. If you could talk a couple thousand off the 06, then it'd be worth it.

It all depends where you live, as the prices vary. I tried 4 dealerships, and with all the haggling, the best price I got was 31600 for my 06. However I purchased in early April, and I wanted Rio Yellow and no other color, so I expected the higher price. In my area prices don't go that low because they don't carry many, and they know it will sell. I looked, and there are very few 06 models left around here. Also, the dealerships around here only have one most of the time, so I'd have had to travel to save more money. Since they have me $1000 over KBB for my 01 S2000, I just took the deal, because I didn't want to wait, and I wasn't sure I'd find a Rio Yellow leftover in the fall. $29995 to is a fabulous deal if the 07s aren't out yet, but since the depreciation has begun with the 07s out, in your area I suppose that's considered to be a good deal, with the ability to get them down $500 or so.
