The picture above wouldnt be possible... since you would need bracing at the front of the car (on the windshield).
Im not that great at PS, but if someone had a picture from the same angle and spot with and w/o the hardtop... it would be pretty easy to make a quick drawing.

I'm no gem in physics and aerodynamics, but why would this require further bracing of the front windshield???
If it looked good and was weather tight I would consider one for the nasty winters we have here in the northern Sierra's. I had a fiber glass hard top for my '74 Alfa Spider and left it on all winter. I don't really want to do tha with the S, but an NSX/Del Sol type top would be cool (literally and metaphorically).
I think it might look better if you used the Mugen style top over the OEM. I think it would have a better flow with the existion lines of the car. Maybe someone with Photo Shop could Do it up for the post.

I think it would look better with a slightly different design hardtop instead of a mangled OEM top.
How about a vertical back glass with extended (fast back looking) pillars. I have seen that on some cars and thought it looked nice. I know the old vettes had them.
Alright bare with me fellas, I am not the best with Ghetto Shop. Just a crappy pic I found on the web, I did a little cut and paste and this is what I came up with. I am sure there is a better pic out there so feel free.
