204,000 and some change....

So far, I know the following people have made it over 200,000 miles:

1FastS2K
W1ngman
Hockey
Penrod
Me (Slalom44)

I remember that ClosetGeek was getting really close, but I don't know if he made it yet. I'm sure there are several more.
I'm at 211k. The original clutch just gave out during a track day recently. I<3myap1 also has over 200k. I think he's in the 260k range.

Thanks for adding me to the list, I don't get out of my local sections much anymore . I'm coming up on 250k in the next couple of weeks .

I think Tyler has close to 280k now, IIRC.

That's amazing. Glad to hear your car is still running strong.

I didn't know about Tyler. I've added his name to the list. He hasn't been active here. It would be nice to hear more about his car.

My motor went at about 215k. The last 100k were with 4.77 gears and I never upgraded the oil squirters like I should have. I do a lot of highway driving so I essentially spend many hours cruising at 5k+ rpm. Not long after 200k, I did an oil change and found gold flakes in the oil so I started sourcing a new motor.

I replaced it with a 20k mile 03 motor and decided to step up to an AP2 trans while I was doing it. My original trans was still working fine the day I pulled it out, I just wanted the different gearing of the AP2 trans. I went ahead and rebuilt my 4.77's so I essentially started over with a fresh drive train. I dropped a chunk of change on all of that, but I figured it was more than worth it being that the car has never given me a problem since the day I drove it off of the showroom floor.
