this may be a stupid question, but why would you want an rsx ecu in an s2k?

The ECU can be tuned, whereas the stock s2k ECU cannot.

I've seen the threads for the 06+ s2000 ECU, but not one like this that is compatible with 00-05

with a K-pro ECU you can set all the readiness codes on, even if you don't have a cat. converter for instance... The ECU can be used for nitrous activation, for you boosted guys theres a WOT shift feature. There's alot of cool stuff to be done with this ECU...

So this means that you can use this ECU and still pass emissions testing (the type where they just plug into the OBD-2 port to check for codes)?

If so, yay for that.
im still trying to figure this out. The problem is the ECU might report back an RSX vin, which will throw serious red flags as they give your s2k an obd2 inspection. Gotta find out from Hondata what the ECU reports as far as VIN.

^ Ahh.. didn't realize VIN was reported by the ECU. Hopefully it's programmable (as most everything else is).
