only thing you lose is the water temperature gauge, but Modifry has a mod for that.

aem is the way to go. This ecu is way too expensive... Funtioning OBDII port is the only reason you would get this over AEM EMS>

Yep... but it's something that would be a requirement for me, and something I'd be willing to pay an extra couple-hundred bucks for. Hopefully others will be too... and maybe that'll convince AEM to update the EMS to have a functional OBD-2 output.

IT will never happen. The requirement to have the obd feature are insane. Only vehicle manufacturers can do it.

Why do you say that? Is there some law preventing aftermarket ECUs from reporting to the OBD2 port? If not, I see no reason why they couldn't do it. I doubt it takes any significant amount of additional hardware or software. AEM could even have the OBD2 stuff be "optional" for those that want it and charge an extra couple hundred bucks per unit. It would still be cheaper than this Hondata unit, and I'd be willing to pay for the OBD2 functionality.

emanage ultimate ftw.

the hondata offering is a joke. sorry hondata fans, it is. for what, almost 2k i get some hacked up RSX ecu. GTFO. emanage will allow you to pass emissions and have amazing tunabilty.

way to be late to the party and not even bring something hondata.

I've tuned emanage ultimate for couple cars, including an s2k, but the adjustability of k-pro and the ability to make various changes along with it being user friendly is my take on it.

Where can i get support for install of the Hondata if i've already bought the unit and sensors etc from Honda.

Just wanted to know if i can install all the sensors and the hondata and run it(with a tune of course).

I have a question about the install notes in regards to the CKP (Cranks sensor). It says i need to install wiring harness from crank sensor to ECU. Can someone enlighten me. Am i suppose to buy a wiring harness for this in partiular as well. Not listed in the parts needed.

Actually there are laws against running obd and reporting a fully functional vehicle when it isn't. The AEM EMS doesn't run the air pump or offer all the emissions compliance the stock ecu does.

Not to mention that in most states tampering with the emissions controls is illegal. The ecu/factory program is part of the emissions system!!!
