Hello All,

Another question. I'm looking to get a used S2000. However, I'm curious if it would be better for me to get an S2000 with less miles or a 2001 with more miles. Are there any issues that are commonplace for either year? Is there an overall recomendation you guys have? For example, given the same price, take the 2000 if it has 5,000 less miles that the 2001. Stuff like that.....

 

not many differences between '00 and '01...
i think it depends on the condition of the cars.
both the same condition?
either one have an extended warranty that transfers with the car?

 

I agree with wanabe. It will depend on condition, warranties and colour choice

 

I was told the only difference in an 01 and an 00 is the clock on the radio....Of course I don't notice that difference because I tore out the shi%%y radio. For warranty...3/36 so you can decide which runs out first for you...will you kill the miles on the 01 before you loose the time differential on the 00. Of couse it depends on when the 00 and 01 were actually purchased because that's when the warranty starts and not the model year.
