No offense and not to start anything with anyone, but imo, this guy really isn't enjoying life if he just has his cars sitting around, not being driven. He better have a Ferrari as a daily driver if he doesn't find the S2000 fun to drive. I think that was a huge waste of money on this guy's part. He bought this car brand new in 2000 for $38K+ (I'm assuming that because when the car first came out, it was a bit over sticker price due to its popularity and people wanting it) and let the car sit around for the past 8 years, just so he can sell it for less than half of the amount he paid for it?

I respect the fact that his S looks brand new still, but it just doesn't seem like he is enjoying life. I think people who buy cars and just let them sit around in their garage(s) are wasting money. Just my opinion. Sorry if I'm stirring drama here. Ignore this post if you're getting mad.

are the parts used in the suspension rubber or polyurethane?
i ask be cause when i found my 69 firebird...very original car...it hadn't been driven in 18 years...
we changed the fluid, converted the distributor to hei and lubed the bushings...
and drove it as is...
only recently did we change the bushings to polys...just because...
so i wouldn't worry much about a modern day car...
again change the fluids including the fuel in the tank....and drive it.,,

if this guy has the funds to buy that many cars and have them sit around for that long, I dont think hes hating life at all. This guy/gal would have to be complete stupid to invest all their money into cars which almost everyone knows depreciates once you drive it off the lot. Im sure this person has other business deals going for them.

Unless you were buying it to save for a museum in 30 years..... I'd buy a new one to drive. That is uless the price were 1/2 of new. Remember, probably no warranty.

thats pretty sick. When i used to work at a dealer we had a 1987 Buick Grand National GNX come in on consignment with 100 miles exactly. The thing was INSANE. BUT it needed work...i mean it had the same tank of gas sitting in their all those years, it wasnt started up and moved around, that takes a toll on the vehicle, a lot of the time its worse than just putting some miles on it every once in a while. Still cool though none the less and a sweet find ( both the S2 and the GNX )

Nice, but as long as they're selling new ones for sub-$30k, all he did was just lose money by letting it sit.

Looking at all his cars for sale, I doubt that they are all his. Seems like he is auctioning off someone else's collection. Or maybe a couple of low mileage collections. Doesn't seem like he owns them all. I dunno. Very nice condition vintage cars though.

Love the old newness. He probably didn't buy it as an investment. Haven't you bought stuff before and not open the package?

If I needed one, I'd take a serious look at it. External Warranty for a few $K and you're good to go. Looks gorgeous!
