Default 2000 S2K owners dont be cheap!

Wow did I end up paying out of my butt when I tried going the frogal route.
Lots of crap OMG comes along when buying hardtop for S2000.

1.Price of Top $2000-3000 for a OEM Mugen is about a Arm Or Leg for $5k carbon

2.Install Kit hold on dont crap your pants: $650 just for damn install kit

3. Have it installed anywhere from $200 -$399

4. Stand for your hardtop: OMG $500

5. Finally cover optional: $100

Grand total anywhere from $3000 to $ 4000 that sucks! .........Bad for us 2K owners!

I thought about buying a hardtop- at the same time I was also planning on selling my '95 GS-R.

After further review, I decided to pay a little bit more (so to speak) and just keep the GS-R as a beater. Now my S2000 stays in the garage when it rains, etc.

1. New, 2500 from Hardtopguy + shipping
2. Depends are model year of your car. $0 - 678.00
3. Installation is easy, do it your self. I did mine.
4. There is a thread on how to make one for 30.00 in parts from Home Depot. Search it up.

Or just buy a used hardtop with the installation parts for less. I paid less then 2000 for mine. All parts included, and becasue my car was an MY02, I sold the spare leftover parts too.
