Congrats Sexton, I'll be in your town this weekend for the car-guys event at VIR.
I haven't heard if any other S2000's will be there, at this point I don't think so.

I will use a normal everyday type of car since my 1976 Triumph TR6 does not have a rollbar.
When I ordered the S2000, I was planning on using it in the CarGuysInc event. What a downer that it will not be here in time!!!
You will _love_ VIR --- The CarGuysInc school is on the North Course (not the Full Course) but still it is a very challenging course. On the front straightaway you may be able to reach top end in your S2000 before heavy braking into turn 1. The Roller Coaster is great fun if you like heavy braking before you drop 100 ft and accelerate downhill to Hog Pen. Check out the VIR map at http://www.virclub.com.
Do you have a rollbar for this event or are you using the stock S2000 roll hoops???
The next VIR member track day is 3 November, Friday. It is possible that the Honda dealer will let me use his S2000 for that event. You should try to come and visit on that day. I don't know whether you would be allowed on the track or not without being a member. Now, if you are a _prospective_ member, you may be able to participate.
In late November, I am taking the 3-day Skip Barber Racing School at VIR in the Formula Dodge on the VIR South Course. Hopefully, I will learn enough to properly handle my S2000 when it arrives.
Where do you live in Virginia???

The Car-Guys don't require a rollbar for the S2000. I'd like to get a hardtop but I'm waiting to see how much Giampiero's carbon fiber one will cost.
How much is the Skip Barber school, it sounds like fun?

I've been thinking about taking the Skip Barber 3-day school too, either at Summit Point or Mid-Ohio. I had no idea that they have it at VIR now! Hmmmm, I'll have to check that out for next spring.....

Suggest that you book early but the deposit is $1000 or $1500 (can't remember since I paid for the whole course). Check the rules for cancellation --- you can lose 1/2 or more if you cancel too close to the event.
I am really looking forward to the Skip Racing course as well as this weekend's CarGuysInc course. I really want to learn about car handling and racing so that my everyday driving --- and S2000 --- will be fun and safe.
As someone told me, "You have got the racing bug --- bad!"
Oh well --- it is about time that some dreams in life can come true. Every since high school in 1963 I wanted to race at VIR, but without the opportunity or resources --- now it is getting closer every day!
Also, it does not hurt to live 23 minutes from VIR!!!! The last few months of racing events and cars have been truly wonderful.
