Thanks for the heads up sexton and congratulations. I stopped by my dealer today and said, "I bet you've got my VIN# on your print out this morning...." and he did--same as he told me on the phone #52. He added that he thinks it might arrive anytime within the next 5 to 10 days! They get on a truck in Portland, Oregon and are dropped at dealerships across the northwest.

There was an "ASM" date of 23 October on the 24 October print out. The next step is a ship date and estimated delivery date, but it is possible for the car to show up before or after the "estimated delivery date."

Well, I leave town for a week this coming Friday morning for a week in Chicago at the annual American Academy of Pediatrics meeting. I could meet Scarlet II before '01 #52!

Thanks! I am planning to be in Asheville for the S2000 event in April 2001.

We are going to Asheville on 10-12 November 2000 for my wife to be a judge at the Grove Park Inn's umpteenth annual Gingerbread House Contest. This is the 5th year or so that we have made this event. Very nice to stay at the Grove Park Inn.

Originally I was plannnig to take the S2000 but it is going to be a close horse race to see if could possibly arrive in time for the upcoming trip to Asheville.

BTW, Asheville is beautiful. I lived there for two summers while in college and I loved it. Be sure to see the Biltmore House --- awesome.
