I tried doing a search but came up with nothing. Anyways, is there any info out there about putting a 2002 convertible top with the glass rear window on a 2000 car. I would like to do this to my car and was wondering if it was a simple as buying the new top or if major modification was required. I'm very mechanically incline and I would like to be informed before I attempt the swap.

im sure you could buy a 2002 top from the dealership and have them install it, but youre the first person ive heard of trying to do it. I prefer the platic window, although they can get creases in them, the glass window is smaller and harder to see out of.

 

I am surprised that you cannot find anything with search. This question has been asked so many times that they have put the answer in the library.

Go to "Library" at the top of the page, click on "Modifications", then select "Custom Built".

 

how could you not find anything?? There's been so many threads on it. The main one you want is called Retro-fit is possible. Just search for "Retro-fit" and you'll find it.
