there is *supposed to be* a retro fit kit for the '00's and '01's coming out sometime soon. however, it will be far from cheap and will most likely:

1) require you to replace the entire top which runs around $1600 with labor
2) require some of the conv. top bars to be re-worked (in the kit, I'm assuming)

This isn't much helpful but at least it is interesting to see there is an acutal documented S2000 top with plastic window exchange to 02 glass window version done by one of the Japanese tuner Jets Integral Kobe.
So this is defnitely do-able.
It seems like they can show and share some valuable insight on how they did it and how much it is involved in doing this work. Well at lease they are interested in sharing the info pretty soon on their web page.

Hopely we will get to find out more about this from thse people who actually have done this.

hmmm I wonder if zigzag/eltiani can run an article about the process. I'd really like to know more.

it's a Japanese website: http://homepage1.nifty.com/integral_kobe/s.../s2000/horo.htm

and it looks like it's fully do-able. roughly $1500 for the top, and 6 hours of labor.
