didn't you know? Every year is the last year of production for the s2000. Then they decide to release it as a new special edition the next year for honda's 50th, 51st and 52nd year anniversary.

Many Dealers like to spread this rumor.

Also, the Rx-7 was discontinued for the lack of sales i think didnt it sport a 40,000 something thousand price tag? I heard that was the main reason. First of all i believe the s2000 will not be discontinued maybe in the future just have a new engine or something. Didnt they have a 2.2 liter engine too? and they took the 2.0 for advertising purpouses?

When the S2000 was first announced, I thought I had read that 5,000 to 6,000 would be made for only two model years. Now the third model year is coming out.

I would think that if it's making money and/or press for Honda, it will continue. Let's face it, people don't even know about this machine yet. I would venture, that they'll be easier and easier to sell with awareness increasing.

What's the sticker price for the 2002?

That's what we call "joke". I'm sure Le Car gets it!

Yeah, well recently maybe. The last half of the 20th century was a little dark for them though.

Future models may or may not be sold in...

***** THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ******

Remember all those minivans, suv's and 4x4 truuuuucks surrounding you whenever you try to take the S2K for a drive?

There are other markets (and other countries with more taste, appreciation for the environment, and money! )

Apparently, there are 3 new Honda's on the way.
There is going to be a S1300 ( Smaller version of S2000 that is
front-wheel-drive and competes with the Miata ). Also, there is a 4-door coupe (yikes) version of the S2000 and an S2200 (2.2 Litre) Who knows what will actually make it to "The States..."
There is also a 2-seater Nissan in the works to compete with the Miata and MR2.

Maybe the 15 year old's (oivinator) daddy might have to buy him a USED one. (Whaaa)
