There is going to be a S1300 ( Smaller version of S2000 that is
front-wheel-drive and competes with the Miata ). Also, there is a 4-door coupe (yikes) version of the S2000 and an S2200 (2.2 Litre) Who knows what will actually make it to "The States..."
Ehhh? What ever happened to the S660?

Aus, I got the joke, chuckled at a few of them. But you know what? Idiots are in every country. And so are rednecks. Trust me. Idiots abound...sad state of affairs, but it's very true.

Beavis, I'm sorry, my Chicago friend, but you are not correct on what you have posted. This is nothing but totally unsubstantiated rumor. I'd like to know your source for this info. We actually asked this very question to the Honda S2000 engineers that we met in Tokyo..."are there any plans to use the S2000 chassis/frame in another car?" The answer met with an unequivocal NO. There are NO plans to make smaller versions of the 2.0L engine and the only 2.2 litre motors are made by Mugen...of which there are 3 in the world. All my sources, who are very close to the source, say that there is a slim to NO chance of this becoming anything CLOSE to production. Period...end of story.

The Rumor Mill Forum? C3?! What happened to that?!

Aus, that is the Honda Beat...not the S660. It's just a little sports car, with even less power than a base Miata.

True, having only seen the Beats that we saw in Tokyo, I spoke too quickly. It's not a Beat and it's not going to see production, either!

Hello All,

I just purchased a S2000 '02 and the dealership has stated that '02 is the last production year. I have asked for a letter to verify this and they are sending it to me this week from Honda Corp.

No problem Greg.
Of course I heard this from other folks via the a internet Don't really care one way or the other.
Just stirring up this redundant thread a bit.
Really laughed at the "world according to America."
Had to put in my 2 cents in...
