Default 2002 observation

Hi All,

I notice something while driving the other day. Did you all notice the controls on 2002s have perfect symmetry? Every button and knob has a mirror control. AC, audio, etc. Check it out.

Hahaha,

If you own a Supra, you won't know what I'm talking about. For 2002 owners to look at.

I think Honda placed the controls like that on purpose. I don't think any other cockpit has this kind of placement.

I think he's talking about stuff like being able to turn the radio up or down w/o having to remove your hands from the wheel,etc...

the controls may be symmetric but the texture isn't.

I think he just means that the controls on the left side are mirror images of the right side. Another thing I noticed the other day is that the controls on the right side are kinda rough compared to the left side. You know what I mean. It feels like the AC, Recirculate, and the fan switch all have a rough grippy contour feel. While the Mute, CH, and volume switch just has a smooth contour. Does the MY00 and MY01 have the same feature?
