I WORK AT A HONDA DEALERSHIP AND WE WERE ALLOCATED ARE 2002 S2000'S A WEEK AGO AND USUALLY IT TAKES ABOUT 60 DAYS TO GET THE CARS. SO WE ARE EXPECTING THE FIRST 2002's IN THE MIDDLE TO END OF NOVEMBER. BOTH OF THEM ARE BLUE.

Hello NMS2000:
Which dealer in Albuquerque do you work for?
I tried to buy an S2000 from both of them but they were way to greedy!
Best regards, Steve Rogers

Just got my VIN # today, looks like I'm getting the 15th off the line. Dealer said the car shipped from California on October 4th, we will see how long it takes to get to Florida.

I'm in Dallas, TX
I ordered 02 Spa Yellow from Huggins Honda (North richland Hills)
@MSRP (Delivery date is early November)

There are other dealers such as Jim Macnatt Honda, John Eagle
Honda, Frank Kent Honda which all offered me 2002 @MSRP
but the waiting list was too long

Just got the VIN two days ago! (2HMAP11432T000226) Sebring Silver/Black interior

The Dealer sent out my order on August 16th.

Will be here 6 weeks from now (right before Thanksgiving! That's almost same as last year when I pick-up my Yellow one!)

MSRP was told to me at $32,840 (Including Dest. Charge and that's how much I'll pay fot it!); That's only $100 more than the 2001 model.

Hey guys, lets keep the dealer bashing to a minimum, I'm a certified lead manager for Elk Grove Honda in Elk Grove Ca. I also own an s2000. I know what everyone is selling them for and what I'll sell one for. The 2002's are on the way and if you want to see all the improvements log onto hondanews.com. Frankly, most people pay over msrp and are damn glad to have the car. 2002's should arrive within the next two weeks. Any ethical salesperson or dealer never has to lie about a transaction, if they do, why would you give them your business? I'm always upfront about the price and delivery time and deposit etc. If you want to contact me about anything , feel free to do so.

It's not uncommon for dealers in the North to be leary of having sportscars in their winter inventory. The manager tells the sales group the car won't be available until next April or whatever (they just forget to mention why and that it was their choice).
