It is being stated that the 2002 S2000 will get a small change to the front and rear lights and no glass rear window but defroster cords in the current window.

Hmmm ... defroster wires in the current window ... can you say "warp" and "melt"?

 

I had read that somewhere yesterday and I was wondering the same thing. How do they keep the plastic window from melting? It may be a different plastic compound. Only time will tell when rumor becomes a reality.

 

That will be unique. Does anyone know of any applications where they put a defroster in a plastic rear window?

Defogger lines in a plastic window or can we now start bumping the rumor of the glass rear window up a notch and start calling it an unconfirmed possibility.....

 

Yeah wonder how they'll pull that off.

 

Looking at the artilcle, looks like more rumors to me.

 

Where's the guy with the crow....MY 2002 is gonna be really interesting. My vote is JDM 2002 only, with rear glass, modified tailights, and "silver headlights". Hope I'm wrong cause I'd really consider the blue on blue if it comes here. Then again if Silverstone is no longer made? Hmmm....
