Default 2003 DASH

I am a new owner of a 2003 S2000. My question is about the dash lighting. It is really hard to see the gas gage position. Is it supposed to light up like the Temp gage or is it just hard to see? Is it backlit and the bulb just burned out? I need to know before I go back to the dealer? Thanks.
PS:The car is a blast - much more fun than my RX8!!

Should light at the same level as the temp gauge. Enjoy your new car!!!

Gage?

Gauge.

If its not as bright as the Temp gauge, take it to the dealer and have them fix it.

Since you insist on running a search on http://www.webster.com, here it is ...

The word "GAGE" does exist:

Main Entry: 1gage
Pronunciation: \ˈgāj\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, pledge, reward, from Anglo-French

"Gauge" is preferred usage. Merriam-Webster online defines "gage" only as a variant of "gauge".
