Here's what I've either heard and/or read:

1) Re-introduction of Silverstone Metallic for the color options

2) Deletion of Red interior for Grand Prix White and addition of Tan interior

3) Re-introduction of Red/Black interior color combo and deletion of ALL RED interior

Whether any and/or all of this is true, one thing is for sure, given a few months and we will be the first folks to know!

hey guys, i have an 02. could someone take a REALLY big closeup of an 01 wheel? 02 wheels cost about 40 bucks more on handa-accessories. i'm just curious to know what exactly is the difference

pray, pray, and pray that 03 is the last year! i hope they don't make the S into a production model that lasts for a while. ours right now would be the weakest/oldest of the line if it were so.

Yeah that would be great. Part prices would fly through the roof and finding a decent mechanic would be even more difficult than it is now. Tuner companies would also stop production/development.

The wheels look the same physically, the difference is the coloring. 02 Wheels have a slight broze tint to them, its very slight I used to have a 00 and I didn't even notice the difference until someone on the board mentioned it.

I believe (opinion) that there are plans to continue production and change the bumpers, maybe more, for '04. Just something I've heard through the rumor mill.

If it helps, Honda posted the news release about the '02 during early September last year: http://www.hondanews.com/forms/honda/s2000/index.html

... so I think we're still have a way to go to get the offical notification.

I hope the S2k will still be around uncorrupted by the time I can get one. I just hope they stick to their philosophy of a true sports car if they do continue with it. 4 years already?? Seems like the car's still new. Even now, the cars seem to be plenty in demand so I don't think Honda will make any major changes.
