Yes they are Aluminum. Most likely cast and not forged though.
Alloy just means that other material was added to the pure metal in order to enhance it's properties. So if it's 99% Al and 1% Zinc, Copper, Magnesium, etc.. Then it's an Alloy.

How much weight advantage do these wheels have over a steel alloy? I'd hate to hit a curb with them..
