The headlamps and taillamps are the same size as they are currently.

The reason the headlamps look to be a different shape is the new front bumper has an enlarged "flat" area in front of them.

Front bumper can be swapped-confirmed today while ordering the new "bassmouth" fascia and Optional chin for my '02. Same part numbers on splash guards and wheel well liners.
Headlights=Ditto
Rims="Doi"
Rear=yup, but may interfere with oval '04 tips
Tail lights= yupperz

I would like to swap out the new tail lights with LED's.
I think the wiring hassel would be worth it.

Well I take back what I said before I just read an interview with a big wig at Honda and he said that the tails were not a direct swap. He said that although they look like they would be the tails are shaped a little different, also he said that the rear bumper and exhaust would not work.

Edit: Found that article. Its in the new Import racer. The article says: "I posed this question to Shigeru Uehara, the Senior chief engineer on the original S2000 and the 04 redesign...... he said yes, the redesigned front bumper and headlights should just bolt right on the first generation S2000s.

However it's not so easy in the rear. Although similar in appearance, the bumper, taillights, rear body panels even the exhaust tips have been slightly redesigned.

So it dosn't look like the taillights or rear bumper are bolt on items

I wonder about the oval exhaust tips. Might be a simpler way to get a different look.
