2004 Conversion Info
Trying to compile/start a thread that has most of the conversion info because I can already tell that the info is getting scattered.
Just post simple answers if you know about fitting/modding MY04 parts to MY00-MY03.
This will just be an informative thread on compatibility issues.
Examples:
Will the headrest speakers bolt in?/ Ifso what kind of modding wiring harness is needed to do so?/ Will they hook up to stock head unit?
Will the new bumpers bolt on?
Head lamps? tailights?
You get the idea?
I am not saying that I am trying to do any of this stuff...Just thought it would be nice to have the info in one place instead of whoreing up the other threads/posts about brochure pictures and new specs.

What is there to say? Everything is pure speculation at this point. Aside from a few magazines no one has even driven the '04, much less taken one apart to see if the parts fit on an older car...
I'm sure this thread will take off once the '04 cars and parts hit dealers.

Leaving the engine issue aside. Wouldn't it cost just about the same or a bit more if you go out and trade in your car for the new? The parts and labour will most likely add up in the end.

The front bumper should be a direct bolt-on.
However, the rear is a different story, so it will probably take an experienced body shop to fabricate something for the swap, but it is definitely less involved than grafting S2k tailights on say a Buick Rendezvous.
I read this information from an interview with one of Honda's designer's/engineers? (forget which one) in a current car magazine.
