The sad truth is if they put in a slushbox it would create more overall demand that raising the redline to 10k. The average US driver won't even consider the S because they don't know how or don't want to drive a manual transmission. Honda is softening this car precisely because they want it to appeal to a wider audience.

 

She just wants the car Next she'll tell you that it doesn't have a 9k rpm redline and that's fine for her but not masculine enough for you.

The recognition that the 00-03 s2k received by the press and car reviews would not have been the same without the 9000 RPM and the 120hp per liter output.

 

i meant the ones that were directly above the radio, but it's probably the angle of the picture, because the vents are tiny and are angled slightly downwards

Just noticed, if you look very closely the cars emblem is still s2000... so is it a new s2000 thats 2.2L? or is the car the s2000 for 04 and not the s2200 (being that the 2200 is a different model completely)?
