in calif you will pay more than other states, prices are regional. i paid less than sticker for my 2004 in november, you may not get the color you want, but you can order a car. since you have internet access i suggest the following:

1. e mail each dealer , the emails are on the Honda USA site, in your area within a radius you wish to travel. Tell them you want XYZ car and ask for a price, tell them you want a car NOW. Do not discuss finance or other stuff, just the car cost to you, plus tax and license.

2. as each bid comes in, and you may have to talk to a few folks by phone, tell the other players what the others are offering and ask them to beat or match it...you will find the right price, make your deal by internet or phone and go and get the car.

3.no hidden charges or you walk away...you have to be able to walk away to get what you want, and maybe not get the color you want, but depending on demand you may????
