Default 2004 S2000 Style Change?

I'm in the market of getting an S2000.

Just wondering if any of you had heard if there will be a body style change for
2004?

If there is, I rather wait for the 2004 model.
Otherwise, it's between the 2002 or 2003 model,
which ever I can get the best deal.

Is there any difference between the 2002 and 2003 model?
They both have the rear glass windows?

Thanks,
Eric

I'm in the exact situation you are in. In fact, I rescheduled my S2000 buying from this summer to this winter, after the 2004's come in, so that I can see for a fact they're changed or not. If I don't like it, I know I will be able to get a 2003 for a really good deal. If they're changed for the better, expect to pay a little more premium due to higher demand.

What's been rumored so far by BigWave10, who's past claims have been true, is that 2004 is the year for a redesign, not necessarily re-engineer.

According to my research to all the Honda Japan News, I don't think the model of S2000 "1999" is going to be change in 2004.

I talked with the MD District rep and she has not heard of any changes.. That's why I went ahead and placed my order..

I think this is a car that Honda will leave unchanged for like 6-8 years..

I've read a redesign (all-new car or close to it) is due for MY2005, meaning a new one would be available Fall 2004

They should be all considered rumors as of now, but for me, I'm not gonna wait til 2005 to get a car. Even if power increases then, it'll probably only be about 10-15hp, which isn't really worth the premium you'll have to pay then to get the higher demanded car, considering the car can be had for near invoice nowadays.

I don't know when it is going to change but I think Honda SHOULD change it around 2006/07.. The car is selling so good, they should wait... But then again, they have to be ahead of the game.

On August 26, 2002 Automotive News released a report outlining future products from each of the Asian manufacturers. The report said the S2000 would receive restyling and re-engineering with 2005 model year.
