Default 2004 S2K Now Available In Middle East too !

Hi Guyz.. New S2000 is available in Middle East as well.. But its still 2.0 Engine. I thought new ones were 2.2 litre.
I saw one and it looks really sweet but i honestly dont know what to choose to keep my 03 or trade in for 04.
Just the fact about 8k just kinnda puts me off . I dont know what to chose really.
whats the outcome from a roll and dig for 04 and older models?
Im just confused whether stick to my Spa 03 or 04.

if it's the 2.0l motor, it's the same as the 03 motor. just style changes, in that case.

the north american market(usa and canada) is only getting the 04 s2000 with the 2.2 liter engine. everywhere else is keeping the 2.0 liter.

Yeah.. I ordered mine 2 months ago and i live in the middle east (bahrain) and its a 2.0 engine. Only exterior changes, 17inch wheels and lights and some other stuff. the price here is 12900 BD = 125000 DHS = 34000 dollars $.

I guess its much more expensive than the U.S... it's still with the dealer i didnt recieve it yet. I will probably go buy another car, they will give me a refund because they they promised it will be a 2.2.

M Aryan,

Just curious, why are you as interested in the 2.2l. I ask because, there is a lot of controversy about which is better (a lot of people in the US are upset that the car now comes equipped with the 2.2 rather than the 2.0, while others think it's better). What makes the 2.2l so much more desirable that you'd buy another car than take the 2.0?

I like the idea of the 2.2 L. More power is a good thing.

But you are compromising on the 9k rpm.
Honestly i would buy the 04 if its only exterior changes.
Keeping the 9k redline and same engine is awsum.
M aryan , Dude dont buy any other car just cuz u cant get s2k in 2.2L u r getting an amazing deal if its just exterior changes.
At the end of the day S2k is the dream machine doesnt matter 00 or 04.
