oh and hey thunderchicken thats some high quality drawing capability right there
j/k
now i think the big question is what is going to happen to cars in general in like 10-15 years or sooner when hydrogen and the damn steering wheel controls comeout??
btw, i hate these new concepts of cars with no pedals, hydrogen, etc.. as some of you may have read in my pasts posts.

Strange, the 2004 still doesn't take fog lamps.

Actually I have seen bits of info in several places that indicate there will be a major revision for 2005. Temple of VTEC has it on their "model release matrix" and I seem to remember a couple of magazines saying the same.

The mild revision for 2004 confuses the issue, but Japanese auto manufacturers don't usually let a car sit around for more than 5 years without making changes. In their market you need new product to sell product, so it wouldn't surprise me if brings a new S2000 to market for 2005.

My *unofficial* guess...

--V6 engine
--sequential transmission
--more interior room
--retractable hard top
--more gadgets (traction control, adaptive cruise control, real stereo).
--target price of around $39,000

The fact is, "pure" cars like our beloved S2000 are a rare breed that usually get snuffed out by market demands. The fact that Honda made a car as extreme as they did is amazing to me, so I rewarded them with a purcha$e. By most accounts the 350Z has been a smash hit in the marketplace, selling at 5 or 6 times what the S2000 is doing, that gets the attention of the marketing guys. On the other hand, if they have a car slated for 2005 release they would have finalized the design way before the 350Z hit the market. So who knows. Would I buy a more powerful, bigger, softer car? Dunno, if it puts a big smile on my face like my '03...maybe.

Lesson: Enjoy your car now.

IMO, there is little worth in speculation, there was more than enough of speculation with the '04.. remember was it going to be a "coupe" and look what happened ?
