I make video games for a living, and I lurk on the discussion forums for my games to see what the buzz is. Not a day goes by on the forums without someone posting some "top secret" piece of inside knowledge which I, as a guy who actually works on the game, know is a complete fabrication.

Moral of the story, which should be obvious to everyone already: Take every post on these forums describing future changes to the car with a big grain of salt. If it sounds too good or outlandish to be true, it almost definitely is. In this case, consider -- why would Honda spend all the time and effort to revise the current revision of the S2000 in such secrecy if it's being replaced with an entirely new car next year?

OK guys/gals, come on and lets take this thread seriously as we would with any other thread. The thread starter asked if anyone knows if the MY05 will be changed. He is looking at buying an S and wants to know if he should wait a year and get it or if there is no change then get the MY04 now.

There is no reason for this thread to start getting into a flame thread. Notice how he hasnt even posted in it since he started it. Probably cuz he didnt like getting flamed on a simple question.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A STUPID QUESTION.....JUST STUPID ANSWERS!!!

Yes, but he was asking if anyone knew if the MY05 will change drastically , otherwise he will not wait for it and just get the MY04. I was in the same situation as him when I went to buy my S. I didnt want to wait for something that was unknown so I just bought MY03. Besides, they way I looked at it was if I did like the changes, then I would wait for them to get the bugs out and sell mine and buy one.

Yes sir. I feel so ashamed. I'll behave myself now.
Besides, emrillive is not a newcomer. I think he already knows we're a bunch of fun loving (ass)CLOWNS.
PLEASE COME BACK! I'm an asshole and I admit it. Forgive?

I think Honda should do away with the 2004 entirely and come right out with the 2007 this fall.

Pssst. It has launch control and remote telemetry.

a guy at my local dealership told me that in 2005 it was going to be a 300/300 V6....he also thinks vipers have optional v12's and v8's in the new ones, and that the 2004 S2 is still a 2.0L. I just laughed my ass off and left when he told me all this shit!

Edited for 2004! My bad....
