Default 2006

I've owned a new S2K since March 2001 and I truly love and enjoy the car.
When the 2002 came out I was disappointed for me, regarding the glass window
but I soon got over it.My car still felt raw and beautiful so waited like most people for some real change. There have been many improvements through the years
but no real changes in my eyes.

I'm writing this because I truly want to buy a new S2K,only because I enjoy buying new after awhile...The lease deal on the 2005s is a no brainer if you drive under 12000 mi and the new 2006 with a type of traction control seems like a real safety feature. With all these changes and improvements,I feel, my real want is more HP. I realize it's a driving machine car but more HP is the only thing that would move me to selling my beautiful MY01.

As you all know,Honda has done this before..waiting many years before
changing the Integra to a type R [with no sunroof] and never really giving
the NSX the chance it deserved.I realize this is all money and politics for Honda
but it doesn't make this customer want to buy a new S2K.In the meantime
the integra/RSX will soon be gone and the NSX is history for awhile.

My request Honda, is be more aggresive you already make a great car.

How do you know that the RSX will "soon be gone"?

I wouldn't bet on what Motor Trend says... and the RSX prolly will be gone because of the new Civic Si giving the same or better performance for a cheaper cost which means Honda will either revamp the Integra.. I mean RSX (stupid American marketing) or bring us the ITR

oh.. and the 06 doesn't have traction control.. it has VSA.. there is a difference enough to not confuse the two.

As I said in my post "A type of traction traction" I don't know the
technical spec but Honda calls in in their brohure" VSA with traction control."

According to Edmunds, for 2007, the RSX will be redesigned on its same platform.

I feel the same way as you. I am not upset at the changes but I think they could squeeze some more horsepower out of the 2.2L. I plan to trade my 2003 for something next year and it probably will be another S2000 perhaps the new blue color, but I do wish it had some hp and torque upgrades.
