Default Is the 2006 Leather better quality?

Anyone know if Honda is using better quality leather? I know the side bolsters are of a different quality, but the middle parts feel different as well..

Reason I am asking is because i am thinking about trading my '05 for an '06....

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I think the general opinion is the leather is of higher quality.

It does feel better but, then again, it's a completely different grain pattern.

I agree that its better quality.. I honestly don't even think the middle section of the seats in my 01 were leather..

Its softer - not sure if that's considered higher quality, but its not as slick as the pre-06 leather imo.

My 00 has pretty damn nice leather. No signs of wear at all with 18k miles and 6 years.

I think maybe 06 seems better because its brand new?

I wouldn't say 06 has better quality compare to early years of S2k. The leather in 06 model is not as soft or smooth as model year before 06, but it certainly won't wear out as fast as previous years seating material. My 2003 Audi A4 has the similar leather texture and quality compare to 06 s2k, it hold up its shape pretty well.

either way, doesn't sound like a logical reason to switch to an 06 if you already have an 05.

if you really like the seats that much why don't you just install them in your 05?

maybe that's just me though...

LOL.. I'm not switching from an '05 to an '06 because of the seats...

I like the new Laguna Blue, and have been offered one hell of a deal!
