Hi Patty,
No your not the only one. Though I don't see them as a great improvement over the 04/05, I still think they look pretty good.

The front brakes are ALWAYS going to do most of the work. Basic physics. The harder you stop, the more weight gets transfered forward.
Brake Assist
Brake Assist helps drivers apply full braking pressure in an accident avoidance situation. To do so, a microprocessor continually analyzes and 'learns' the driver's normal braking habits-monitoring both the rate of pressure applied and the total pressure that the driver normally applies to the brake system.

It's too bad that all our whining felt to deaf ears. They seem to have fixed things that aren't broken and left things that are broken the way it is.

Patrick. When the '04/'05 wheels came out, I didn't like the wheels at first. They had to grow on me. When I saw these '06 wheels, I liked them at first sight. Maybe I'll swap my '05s with someone who buys an '06.
