Just so happens I am a Honda Salesman and i have NOT been told that the S-2000 is going to be discontinued !!!

I had no intention of making this post one speculating the future of the s2000 - let's not make it one of those as we already have had waaaayy too many. Anyhow, let me clarify my question as I don't feel it has been answered 100% yet: for those of you who have been around for a bit longer, what has been the trend in releasing the next model year information. Someone mentioned that the 04s didn't come out until oct. or nov. Was this the case with other model years? or was it simply because the 04 was a big change? Thanks

I am in the automotive data industry. I can tell you that we should definitely know before September.

This is just for thought, no speculation, but I believe honda is on a 5 year production cycle, which would mean that either A.) the S2000 will be discontinued, or B.) its up for some redesigns.

Just food for thought though.

i went to the honda dealer today and was told that 2005 is last year for S2k,,,,,, i know i know i have been told every year until today but this one sounded very trustful.....

honda is releasing New Si coupe... and discontinuing the S2k
