Default 2007 Dyno

I just got my car dynoed today. Its a MY 2007 so since there arent that many 07 dyno sheets available, I figured I would post it up. I am happy with the numbers. The highest numbers I got are as follows:

WHP- 239.9
Torque- 171.8

This is a Dynapack dyno so it reads a little high since the wheels are taken off the car. So I figure about 10-15 HP off would be a good guess as to how much actual power the car is making. There is a specific formula for this but I don't fell like calculating it. My car is modified and the mods are:

--Magnaflow mufflers
--K&N Intake

The car has 3000 mi. on it and I drove it hard since it had about 70 mi. on it. I did not follow the break in procedure. Many of my friends and I strongly feel that "break in" is total BS and ruins the potential for good power. Every car that I had, was broken in by driving it hard and they all made incredible amounts of power in stock form. But I digress and this point can be argued to a great extent. Anyway I am posting both dyno plots I have. Enjoy and let the comments roll in, good or bad.

If you believe in this "hard" break-in procedure so much, are you going to make sure you alert the new owner of this practice when and if you go to sell the car? I could tell you for sure, I would run away fast.....screaming. Nice number, BTW.

Yea probably but I am not going to sell it anytime soon. Even if I do sell, it probably going to get traded in to a dealer. Thanks for the comments.

i'd have to say that im starting to wonder about these "break in" periods. my TSX had a 600 mile breakin recomended and i drove it hard off the bat and it makes 170whp(its a 05 5AT) and thats i high number for a stock TSX auto. most are in the low 160 range.

but, non the less thats a more or less average number, now start moddin!

There may be something to the more hp, thing, but dont be surprised if a car thats been given a hard break-in becomes an oil burner down the road. I'll take the correct break-in and the 5-8 less hp anytime. PEACE.

there is lots of debate on break in.

I feel that a hard break in during the first 100 will help seat the rings better and could be the reason why you see some 'factory freaks'
