Does anybody know how many CR's were produced for model year 2008??

I recently purhcased a barely used one.

last 6 of the VIN are: ..000277

That seems like a very low number.

I'v been trying to figure this out and almost have a final number. Below is the process I'm using. Basically, it involves using Excel to calculate the check digit for each vin, then going through the Honda owner link website to find out if the car exists. Tedious, but I do a little bit every day while watching the news.

The only thing I could find was the total number of s2000s sold for '08 which was 2538. There would still be unsold s2000 at the dealership I would assume. Anyone have links to any official production numbers?
