Well there is a 2008 S2000 in addition to the CR. Honda announced the spec's for the 2008. There is some tweaking of the spring rates, damping, and sway bars.

Go to Honda Media for more information. The photos show the new 5-spoke wheels, same as the CR.

Look under "Introduction" to see a table comparing 2007, 2008, 2008CR.

 

Its looking more and more like a Miata.

Ugly wheels and no windshield tape. Seats and instrument panel look nice, though

 

Looks like they changed the seat design on the non-CR. It's taller.

 

Found items to note:

- Muffler upgrade for the CR (tuned note only)

- There is no new short shifter, they just lowered the shift knob: "12.6 mm lower for a 6% reduction in shift stroke"

- Inferred spring rates > can someone post the actual rates based on the % increase?

- 70~80% downforce+

- Instrument cluster peak power indicator (wtf is this? shift light?)

- TPMS (man I would love to have this)

- Rear Body Brace for CR (prolly the one that goes where soft top is

- Sway bar changes for both versions

 

How so? Still looks pretty much like an 04 except for very small details.
