Wow, Honda talk about milking a platform till the last drop. But hey, if it provides profit with the low production numbers, why not milk it?

Holy cow this is not like honda at all, lol. I love this car to death but I think its been milked dry... The car needs a revamp to compete with the rest of the cars in its class.

Given the two year minor update cycle, I don't think there's really any surprise that they'll offer the MY08 in 09 again. The real question is what are they going to do for MY10. We'll just have to wait until August 09 to find out.

Would have been cool if they did a slight makeover if they new they were going to make a 2008-10.

I think it's cool that they continue to make it because it means a larger number of vehicles and more interest from aftermarket, or at least a steady interest at this point since 00-01 are becoming pretty old and also accidents etc take vehicles out of the population.

It's ashame really. This has destroyed the market value for this car used, and also takes away the exclusivity of it. I can flash back to 2001 when I got my first S2K, and that car was so rare. It was nice, now with it out in 2009 without really being changed, they perhaps will continue to overproduce it, causing the 08s to be leftover in the lots next year like the 07s have been, selling for cheap, and further burying the resale value. The fact is, we all now own a very common, high populated car.

Nonetheless I love it, but Honda, PLEASE make a new one.
