HUH? I hope you are joking. You do understand the point of a "test mule" correct?

It's clearly an S2000. Modified certainly, Maybe some sort of custom body work. How do they even know it belongs to HMC?

might be the nsx, purely judging by the exhaust, since there's no room for a straight canister.

huh? what does the current gen nsx exhaust have anything to do with this test mule? and why would honda put a s2000 shell on a current nsx (nevemind the fact that the MR design would not allot that

If those pics really are legit, then....I'm guessing it's mainly an engine they're testing, and I'm willing to bet it isn't an F20C/F22C. Just take a look at how the muffler (and exhaust tips for that matter) are positioned. Also, the "bodywork" almost suggests the car was structurally reinforced and widened. The question is: why?

Perhaps this is just preliminary testing for another sports car they're developing...and it just so happens they're using an S2000 chassis to start these tests. IMHO, it's practically impossible to tell whether or not what we're seeing is the beginnings of a new NSX or S2000...or another car altogether.

All this being just my opinion, of course.
