Its definately the NSX mule.

However, its May and the Honda Marketing department for the Middle East isn't bringing in any more 2007 S2000's (only 3 left in showrooms and sold). I've bought one and my mate and I tried to secure an order for another 07 model or place an order for the 08 and we were told...

Honda Middle East will not be offering the 2007 model as we are eagerly awaiting the newly designed S2000 for 2008

Hmmm...2000 CR edition units for the NA market and Europe/Asia/ME get what?

More than likely the new S2000. When we bought our 07, there were a couple of salesman talking about they had just gotten back from one of those meetings Honda has to showcase new stuff like they did with the new Si or the new two door accord. Anyways they were saying that the next gen S2000 was going to look more like the Miata, more than likely be a factory convertible hardtop and have paddle shifters. Apparently they are trying to target the older generation of car lovers.

 

i work right next to honda of america in torrance. literally the next driveway over from the back entrances. and my coworker said he saw this car tooting around last week wearing acura badges. just fyi.

 

They should just make an s2k the size of a Corvette (give it V6 turbocharged 500 whp) call it the new NSX and be done. oh yeah and make it only $40k brand new. =)
