I bought my 2001 ap1 a month ago, im currently 20, turning 21 in april. I have had 3 miatas, 1 nx2000, mk3 supra, an fc rx7 and now my S. Paid for all my cars myself, and paid for my S in cash. Nice to not have the little creaks and rattles of older cars. So far lovin the S (:

Bought my 2007 as soon as I turned 19, back in 2009.

Im jealous of the kids who have parents help with insurance or any of the car

 

The insurance must be INSANE for someone who is under 23!!

 

Bought a 1-way ticket to SF and drove home in my AP1 600 miles south to where I am now. Turned 21 nine days later. I've been enjoying the car ever since.


I pay $85/month for comprehensive/collision plus near max liability and towing insurance. I have USAA, no tickets or accidents on my record.

I think it's about $13 more per month than my old Subaru Forester XS was.
