Also, the F20 & F22 rotate in the opposite direction as the K20.

beep!

the k and f20c rotate clockwise.

f20c was the first engine that honda started doing clockwise. the K is a development of the F20C, it is clockwise, too.

the D, F20B, B, and H are all counter-clockwise.

the torque on the K20A is about 150 lb/ft. 206 is way off, and probably a misprint, or it's in Nm

True the K20A is no where near 206 on the torque meter. In reality that car dynos around 175-180+ to the wheels and the torque is near 130 or so.

OH GOD I LOVE MAGAZINE RACES!!!!!

What would you ever say if you ever saw 130hp miata blowing the door off of 300+hp corvette? At that point mechanical specs don't mean #@$@

Pay attention to what's more important. Guess what's the biggest limiting factor that prevent a car from reaching its shining moments?

It isn't 7lbs more torque or 10 more hp. The car is as goo as the driver behind the wheel. Lastly, "Power is nothing without the control"

no offense but why is this argument shuch a broken freaking record over here on this board? i love this board, have ever since i made the switch from camaroz28.com. people here seem to be of a bit higher maturity level which is a nice change. i will NEVER argue the benefits of knowing how to properly drive YOUR car but why must everyone feel the need to put it out there whenever someone asks some sort of comperative "which would be better" thread? can't we just take the question for what it is worth and ASSUME (i know that's a horrible word) all is tested at ideal parameters INCLUDING the perfect ayerton senna driver? and i'm sorry but hand me an automatic equipped C5 lingenfelter TT427 vette with a shitty dont know how to drive driver versus emerson fittapaldi in a stock RSX and i'll still take the shitty driver. hell give him a manual and i'll still take him with a bad launch and a missed shift. little over embelishment of "is 10 hp better" but you get the point. i'm just sick of hearing that tossed around.

sorry, bad night and i guess this is my vent. i now owe the s2ki members $48 for my 22minutes of therapy

That torque figure is in Newton-Metres.

The K20A in the JDM DC5-R is rated at 162kw and 206nm.
Or 220hp and 152lb-ft.

yup, 206 NM.....watch your units.

and the 2.2L is the F22C, not a "new" F20C.

This is just for comparison sake. I just dynoed my pretty stock Turbo Beetle and kinda got the opposite #'s. I got 163hp at 5500rpm's and 207 TQ at 3000 rpm's(redline is 6500). It's always a drivers race but off the line the Beetle kills an S2000 and keeps the lead until about 85mph when the S2000 slowly walks it in the top end.
