At low speeds my 2nd gear will pop out on occastion, although more of late, what do you guys think it could be my car is an 03 with 32k miles I have had it since new

 

My 05 started popping out of fourth gear almost from the day I bought it. It would usually happen as I would decelerate a bit, but it could happen at constant throttle or accelerating. Took it into the dealership, of course it didn't happen when the tech rode with me. After some talking to Honda my dealership just said screw it, and replaced the fourth gear. That's why I'm driving a Hyundai Accent right now.

A little piece of me dies every day.

I picked up my 2005 silverstone-black/red, last thursday. On my first day of driving it with 150 miles on the clock fully warmed up (about 20 miles of driving), I was decelerating from 3 to second and then gave it some gas in second while making a left at an intersection and heard a grind. My second gear slipped into neutral. I was like wow, what did I do. About 20 minutes later, it did it again. The first time I thought I messed up, the second time i knew it was the car. My 97 civic HX or 88 Acura Legend never did this to me. I'm going to wait and see if it happens again, and then off to Honda it goes. I spent way too much money for this car, to be having transmission problems. The problem only happens in second gear for me.
