Default 3.9% Financing on all 2003-2004 S2000's

American Honda now has 3.9%, 36-60 month financing on ALL new 2003 and 2004 vehicles, even the S2000. I think this is a first for Honda to offer discounted financing for the S2000 since it went on sale in the U.S.

2003 and 2004 All Honda Models Special AHFC A.P.R. Financing Terms Certificate
Special AHFC A.P.R. financing available on all new 2003 and 2004 Honda models. 3.9% finaning for 36 to 60 months. Example for 2004 Honda Accord LX: 36 months financing at $29.47 a month for every $1,000.00 financed. Dealer sets actual vehicle sales prices. See participating dealers for details.
Offer valid through: 1/5/2004

Honda will more than likely extend the end date through February.

They have probably bought the rate down for you and paid for it, I dont remember Honda having a special on financing on S2k's. Lowest buy rate i have ever seen was 4.75.

While that sounds good, we got 3.75% through Capitol One online last month. Took 15 minutes. Piece of cake.

Bought mine in December last year when Honda was running their 3.49% rate.

3.9% is still really nice and about as low as you're going to get from American Honda.

My recent experience matches Honda606's remarks. The 3.99% so the dealer said was for Civics, Acxcords, etc. Hi sale/low availabilityt cars like Pilots and S2000 did not get those rates.
Yeah, AHM could not give me the rate I wanted on my car bought Dec 18. They were over 4.5%. Of course, I put a lot down, so they could not buy down the rate and bury it - I got $.something from BB&T.

Thanks to a thread like this on vtec.net, I slammed 2.9% last december.. All remaining 02's at 2.9% was posted.

First words to my 3rd time salesman,"I decided to swing by because I got wind of the 2.9% AHFC is offering until 1/31/03". I really don't know if the special was authentic or not, perhaps he just decided he would make it happen. The deal didn't turn rough until trade-in/selling price war began, I gave them four days to think about it... Waiting for delivery sucks @SS, I can't imagine what waiting for a special order must be like. I picked my baby out of about 7-8 cars, Berlina was the only color not available. My VIN# finalized the selection.

FYI or not:
I received a call from a mazda salesman today, their offering $250 under invoice on all Rx-8's until 12/31. You think someone is proudly posting on RX-8 boards, hehe...
