3 People in an S2k?
Although this took place this past October, I finally have the time to tell a semi-entertaining story.
After a successful day at Import Face-off in Baton Rouge, LA, my friend who came with me in his FC took first place for Best Mazda

Sun burnt and exhausted, we decided to head back to Biloxi, MS early so we could make it back before sundown. All was well as we were traveling down I-10 and not 15 miles out of Baton Rouge, my friends FC has a blow out on the interstate. One of the rear tires have a nice gash on the inner sidewall, deemed unfixable.

With no spare tire in either cars and 100 miles away from home, we decided to cram into the good ol' s2k with the top up to go look for a spare tire shop...on Sunday... Also note that I have a 5 point roll cage which further limits the cabin room. After leaving the poor FC on the side of the road we head to the nearest exit 5 miles away. Only thing there is a walmart and a closed pepboys. After brainstorming for a bit we come up with nothing and just decide to head home and grab a spare tire. A tow truck was out of the question since it couldn't get on one in the first place. So pulling out of a walmart parking lot, my friend sitting on the center console starts complaining about how his neck is hurting already and I joke about putting the top down. Well he took that suggestion and I dropped the top in 55 degree weather. 55 degrees itself is not too cold but its freezing going 70mph on the interstate. With the heater blasting and my friend popping out of the car like a sore thumb, we get various expressions from people passing by
Not one of the most comfortable ride ever but it was actually relaxing. When we finally got home, my friend that sat in the middle was deaf for 2 days lol, but we finally got a spare and drove the FC back the same night. So a few words of advice, KEEP YOUR SPARE ON LONG TRIPS!

I would surely be in another mood while reading through this post if i had never been witness/part of a 3 people S2K ride/accident.
7 years have gone past since that night but the image of that S2K crashing on the barrier and people flying out of the cabin, sadly, still remains fresh.
I know i am spoiling your fun here but there are always 2 sides on the coin.
One is the excellent and very enjoyable ride you guys had in your car and the other is the smallest accident that could have happened, leading your friend in the middle, bashing his head on the windscreen (nvm the extra roll cage which would certainly be fatal to any head bang) if not flying out of the car.
Again, i know that this route saved you guys a lot of $$ and time that it seemed not available at that time but i just wrote this as food for thought for next time.

P.S: Keep having fun, enjoying your life and congratulations on your friend with the FC.

Why didn't you leave one of your "bros" in the FC while you took the FC driver to his house to get the spare tire?
Or drop one of your "bros" at a coffee shop down the street and pick him up on the way back?

Its still hard for me to imagine how u fit everyone even after u posted pics..were ur seats ok after the trip? How did u shift with ur friend sitting on the console? I wouldve just offered to drive alone and come back.. Sounds like an interesting experience though.
