But then wouldn't Jason be receiving his S2K earlier than Dec. if he already has the VIN? I wonder if his dealer is wrong about the delivery date.

I'll clarify. I think my dealer's quote of 3 weeks is accurate since he has done this before. I would think that Jason's dealer would know how long it takes as well. Shipping times will vary by location of course.

 

Shipping times varying is feasible, but by that much? Seems weird.
