Diff and trans. fluid should cost you ~$22. In a shop, it would take a tech 30-40 mins to change the fluids if he didn't do them at the same time. $300 is an absolute rip - you unscrew 4 bolts and pump some fluid. That said, most shops will charge you as if they were doing each job seperately - my local Honda dealership charges about $80 each (yetit only charges $25 for an oil change with filter - which is more work), but that's still basically half of $300.

If I were you, I'd ask for help from local S2000 owners with more experience. The hardest part of changing these fluids is jacking the car up.

The hardest part is getting the car up, or getting yourself underneath.

The only thing that makes this job harder (and I use that word very loosely here) than an oil change is that you need to pump the new fluid into the transmission and differential (as opposed to just pouring it in like oil into the engine).

And yeah, a little hand-pump for pumping the fluid will cost you all of about $7.00 at any auto parts store.

differential fluid change is a breeze, tranny fluid kind hard though because you gotta go to the middle of the car

2 things. Most people fail to mention you need a socket and wrench 22mm and 23mm for the differential. In order to fill the fluids, you need a pump, I have tried a bunch and some work better than others. Do a search, its time consuming and a pta to get the fluid in if you dont have a good pump.

Take your car and fluids to any express lube place and they will probably do it for $60 or less.

Don't forget the 23mm wrench. 23mm socket = no go!
